Since we were unable to travel to Worthington we had lunch at the Hotel and attended the Children's Mass at the Catholic Church @ 4:30. By 5:45 ice was accumulating on the streets and windshield, so it was wise to cancel Mt Olivet's 6:00 service. Now @ 8:30 it is starting to snow and blow. Forecast for between 6 and 9" of snow by Saturday morning. Should be a treat on top the ice!!

The last couple of weeks we have been in Kansas City and Dallas to visit the kids and grandkids. We also made a road trip to College Station Texas for Iowa State/A&M football game. Very interesting traditions @ A&M. Joined in the Friday midnight Yell Practice on campus, cadet band members dressed in Halloween costumes, watched the cadet corp "step off the Quad" before gametime; great half time show by the cadet band; and stayed at a nice B&B right next to campus.
